RSGB Contest Results 144MHz May Contest 2019

The activity levels for this contest stayed roughly flat with just over 100 logs received, although there continues to be a trend towards more entries in the 6 hour sections.

In the Open section, last year's winners, Blacksheep CG, G8T once again top the table. In second place is Colchester RA, G0VHF/P just ahead ofReigate ATS and Crawley ARC, G3M by working just a few more multipliers.

The top two positions in the Single Operator table are a repeat of the 2018 event, with David G4ASR taking top spot ahead of Roger G3MEH. Other certificate winners are Frank, PE1EWR who is, yet again, the highest placed non-UK entry and Richard G4HGI this year's highest placed low-power/single antenna entry, the leading Intermediate Licensee is Steven, 2W0JYN and the leading Foundation Licensee Maralyn M7ARA.

For the sixth year running Mick, M0ICK/P is once again the leading station in the SO section, this year in second place is Tony G4LDL, operating as G4L.

Once again the most popular section this year is the 6 hour fixed station section with 51 entries. The top of the table is a GMDX lock-out with Stewart GM4AFF in first place ahead of club mates Gordon MM0GPZ and Peter MM0CEZ. Certificates also go to Mark G6DOD, the highest placed entrant running low power and a single antenna, Donna M7DON the highest placed Foundation Licensee, Philippe F1CBC, the leading non-UK station and Matt 2E0MDJ the top Intermediate Licensee.

The top two stations in the 6 hour Open Section are located in the south of England, in first place is Bob G0KYS, operating M9T from Dartmoor just ahead of Richard G4CZP/P on the Isle of Wight. Jacques, F1BHL/P is the leading non-UK station and Steven 2E0PUT the leading Intermediate Licensee.
